Adolescent Therapy
Helping Teens Navigate Stress, Emotions, and Growing Independence
Teens may benefit from therapy if you are noticing:
-
Increased anxiety or stress
-
Withdrawal or isolation
-
Irritability or mood changes
-
Difficulty with peers or relationships
-
School avoidance or academic stress
Therapy can also support teens who simply need a space to better understand themselves and navigate this stage of life.
My approach is collaborative and respectful. I meet teens where they are, helping them feel understood while also guiding them toward healthier coping strategies, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of self.
You may be noticing changes in your teenager — more withdrawal, irritability, stress, or difficulty managing emotions. These shifts can be concerning, and you don’t have to navigate them alone.
I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where teens can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Adolescence is a time of rapid change — balancing identity, independence, relationships, and increasing pressure. Therapy helps teens better understand themselves while building the skills they need to manage stress, regulate emotions, and grow in confidence.
Parent Invovlement
We begin with a brief phone consultation to ensure a good fit.
If we move forward, we will start with a parent (or caregiver) intake session to gather background information and discuss goals. From there, your teen will begin regular sessions.
Teens meet individually in a confidential, supportive space where they can process emotions, work through challenges, and develop practical tools. I also check in with parents periodically to provide guidance and support progress at home.
